Oh I lol

So heres a couple things some of you might find interesting.  We all know steam.  But there are other online store places that have games for sale that are great.  Two of them being GoG which has heaps of older games and new ones, and also Green Man Gaming, which is lots of everything.  They both also have the occasional free game moment.  At the moment GMG is offering commandos 3 for free but just for today.  Make an account, select it like you're planning to buy it and finish the sale, you'll notice its $0..  Download the Install Capsule and from there you just select the game from your list in the program and it'll download, very similar to steam.  Some of their games can be used with steam if you get a CD key.  This one doesnt.  So if you're interested in a very hard but excellent turn based strategy game, go to the link..

The other place is GoG.  You can select from the game section to list just the free games.

Same as steam, but you log into the site and it'll show you all your games on a bookcase.  I love this site.  There are a couple others like GamersGate which is good at time, Impulse, and also Desura, which focuses a lot on indie games.  This next link shows a listing of the latest cheap deals happening at each place.  It usually catches most of them but never hurts to subscribe to the sites.

Earlier I was given this video and it made me cry.  How are people this STUPID?!?

  1. ...thank you SO MUCH for those links. I spent $60 on Skyrim and a week later they were selling it on Steam with a bonus of the two previous games free with purchase =_= Been waiting ever since to get them cheaper.

...My first reaction to the video was, "Hmm...he'd need some oddly-positioned and powerful magnets to make it float like that." Checked up, was wrong, but the balance thing also makes sense.

  2. Theres a pretty amazing Deus Ex pack for $15 on steam for the weekend. If you've never played the first one before I recommend installing some mods that improve the textures and models. Makes the game look good. And its an awesome game.

  3. I might try, I'll go check it out.

    Also, completely unrelated: http://i49.tinypic.com/f1734.jpg

I think we spent a good 10 minutes talking about you and Austin, everyone was a fan of you though a few weren't of Austin. Then they started changing names and trying to mimic people. xD

You're welcome to join us anytime on Steam (hidden: source), it's a pretty forgotten game.

  4. I know you're still not interested but I must say, you'd be much more interesting to play with than Austin. -.- He said 2 words in 1 hour. And it was a brag.

    1. lol thanks. Did you actually play a game with him or just watch his livestream?

    2. Played with him; my friends were playing with him and told me, so I joined. He kept getting killed, barely hit the Hidden, didn't speak a word (other than "50 damage" apparently), and eventually just left. He ignored all of us really.

He refused to become join in on any of the retarded fun we were having.

    3. Sounds about right. He also started playing with this group I was starting to get in to. Once I found that out I pretty much stopped playing with them. No interest in bumping into him even by accident.

    4. With Hidden he refuses to play on servers without the Pigstick (auto-kill) option, and I think he favors this "dfyyyyy" something server, so it's not hard to avoid him.

Funnily enough that server is for beginners. Sadly for him, none of us that were playing were beginners; we were from the same group and server and moved to that one. Now I see how he was epic in his videos.

    5. So if you ever wanted to you'd be welcome to join the server Hidden Cow, I can NOT see him joining it cuz it doesn't allow pigstick.

  5. Thanks for the invite, but I pretty much never play any fps games unless the servers are located in my country, mainly on the Internode servers or GameArena. Playing an fps overseas is a lesson in frustration because of the connection issue.

    1. Well, you CAN host your own server, a lot of people do actually. I've met 2 other people from Australia that play, one's 14 and if I actually am awake when he is I could ask him to make a server too. But that's only if you'd actually have any interest in it.

I'm willing to play on any server. I tolerated 1.5k ping for years, and can now tolerate anything.

  6. Austin always claimed up around new people. When my friend Andy first played with us Austin wouldn't talk to him at all.

    1. Ah, alright. Might make sense, the boisterous group I was with could have been a little frightening, trying to get him to become a boat and all. :P

Still...even if I side with Con in the argument, it's kinda exciting to interact with celebrities of any type. Makes for good stories if nothing else. Too bad Hidden's basically the only multiplayer I play, I'm far too cowardly for other games.

    2. ...my friend said he'd be a slave for life if I got you to play the game. Is there any way you'd give it a tree? I know you're busy though and it's probably a hopeless endeavor, but trying can't hurt.

    3. I was never really interested in the hidden game so I'll have to pass sorry.

    4. My friend actually asked me to try Jed too but I imagine his answer the same xD Oh well, I tried, thanks for tolerating my incessant nagging xD
